The following are the results of the ISTF "Why Engineering?"
Survey involving the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
It was conducted by the Office of Special Programs at the University
of Central Florida's College of Engineering and Computer Science.
On behalf of our institution, we thank ASME's education office
for their assistance and coordination throughout the effort.
We especially thank the 467 ASME members who took time from their
busy schedules to participate and provide in-depth insights into why
they became engineers and what they experienced along the
way.
