The Office of Educational Partnerships at UCF's College of Engineering and Computer Science is responsible for developing/administering pre-college programs. To learn more about our office please visit our website.

For particulars regarding our Annual Florida Engineering Education Conference designed for K12 STEM teachers and administrators from across Florida, please view an agenda from last year, read through our 2008 attendees' evaluations, or register to learn more about our upcoming May 1, 2009 event.

UCF-CECS created the Engineering Futures Forum Series to help young students learn what engineering is, information about engineering futures (from professional engineers) and become familiar with engineering degree programs available at UCF-CECS.  View particulars from a past forum, see one of our many evaluations and take a look at some picture from one of our recent events.

One of our new programs is the Engineer-Teacher (ET) Connection.  It is being developed to link STEM teachers with engineers in the community.  Teachers will be able to locate engineers for classroom presentations, engineers will be able to locate teachers at local schools where they can volunteer their time and much more.  Interested engineers are encouraged to create an account where they will be able to participate in the program.

Persons interested in a national technology literacy program designed to encourage young students to explore science and engineering careers, should visit our Internet Science and Technology Fair   (ISTF).  Student teams in grades 3-12 work with on-line scientists and engineers to research technical solutions to real world problems.  Take a couple of minutes to view some of our national and international winners at our Hall of Fame.

The OEP activities listed above are made possible through support from our institution, industry, professional, governmental and community partners.  We seek technical support (engineers' time and talent) and financial support to keep our programs operational.  To learn more about what we do, inquire about your participation and/or discuss a possible financial contribution, please contact the Director of the Office of Educational Partnerships.
