Conference Partners


Our sincere thanks to our Conference Partners who have contributed to help make the Fourth Annual Florida Engineering Education Conference a success. Their contributions range from needed financial support to help underwrite the conference (so attendees will be able to participate at no cost) to assistance in identifying speakers and reaching out to constituent audiences as possible attendees. This conference is by definition a "partnership in practice".

The Florida Engineering Foundation The Foundation was established in 1986 to encourage and assist students in pursuing engineering careers and to educate the public about engineering. Founded by a group of engineers within the Florida Engineering Society, our volunteer-based organization encourages involvement of educators, business, industry and government.
Florida Space Grant Consortium (FSGC) FSGC supports the expansion and diversification of Florida's space industry, through providing grants, scholarships, and fellowships to students and educators from Florida's public and private institutes of higher education.
Harris Corporation Harris provides a wide range of products and services for commercial and government communications markets such as wireless, broadcast, and government.
Central Florida Section of the Society of Women Engineers The Central Florida Section of the Society of Women Engineers is a branch of the National organization serving Central Florida. The primary purpose of SWE is to help girls and women become aware of the opportunities available to them in engineering and engineering-related careers. SWE also supports the efforts of women engineers and informs the public of their accomplishments.
Florida Advanced Technological Education Center HCC FLATE (Florida Advanced Technological Education Center for Manufacturing) is a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Regional Center. Our mission is to create a relevant statewide educational delivery system by supporting technical programs, curriculum development, best practices, student involvement, and outreach activities necessary to meet the workforce capacity and high performance skill needs of the manufacturing related sectors within the state.
Florida Center for Research in STEM The center, led by Nobel Laureate Sir Harold Kroto, will use an interdisciplinary, evidence-based approach to improve mathematics and science teaching and learning in Florida's schools.
 NASA-KSC Education KSC NASA Education Office offers Professional Development workshops through the NASA Educator Resource Center. The KSC Educator Resource Center (ERC) provides expertise and facilities to help educators access and utilize science, mathematics, and technology instructional products. KSC ERC serves educators in Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
 Florida Department of Education Bureau of Instruction and Innovation  The Bureau of Instruction and Innovation merges the offices of Instructional Materials, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Technology and Library Media to provide districts and schools with innovative resources and best practices to improve instruction and student achievement.
